'Katt, your spirtual coach'
I was born on the 9th June 1979 in Kent, UK. After moving around a
lot, and then having quite a settled period in the south-west (UK), my childhood became very unsettled and unstable. I was
sent to a private pre-school (Waldorf Steiner) at the age of 4, and went on to the Waldorf Steiner School in the area at the
age of 6. Eventually, I managed to settle in a bit.
But this wasn't to last last long, as my Mum, who was ill, wanted to return to her native
Switzerland, where I had to start off all over again, learning a new language and about the Swiss culture, etc. I developed
some psychological problems. Eventually, I found my niche at the local Rudolf Steiner School, and in the neighbourhood, but
I never really felt 100% at home in Switzerland.
So when I was 16, my family and I returned to England. That was an even bigger culture-shock.
I went from the relatively peaceful school and society in Switzerland, to an English city in the south-west, where there was
a lot of crime and social problems, where I attended the roughest school in town. I got my G.C.S.E.s in one year, then left.
I went backwards and forwards between England and Switzerland for about 3 years, doing various
courses at college, realising I didn't fit in, then taking up a couple of jobs, that didn't last for very long. I realised
I was completely physically and mentally burned out, after rebelling against society for several years, drinking, going to heavy-metal
concerts, etc. So I returned to my parents' house, to recooperate.
This is when several years of therapy at the local mental health team began, along
with reading lots of books about spirituality and self-healing, and trying out various therapies. At 21, I met, and soon after
married, my husband, with whom I have had lots of ups and downs, but we have always deep down stayed true to one another.
We had a baby boy in 2002, who sadly died of cot-death at just 9 weeks. Together, we moved further south, to make a fresh
start. However, we soon started regretting the move, when we had all sorts of trouble in our private lives, especially when
our daughter came along in 2004. But I began to realise, that all that was just a part of what I had to go through, and have
learned to live with the memories of what happened.
Over a year ago, I was discharged from the mental health team, and haven't looked back since.
I am also currently half-way there to gaining a degree through homestudy, and my husband and I have decided to teach our daughter
at home, when she reaches school-age in September 2009, thus being able to teach her the valuable knowledge we have gained
throughout our lives, which seems very important to us. Recently, I also studied towards a spiritual coaching diploma, so
I can help people discover their own reasons for living. Everyone on this planet has tasks in life to fulfill, and I want
to pass my experience on to help people to work out for themselves, what they are. I also want to help people with many issues
they might have in their lives.
UPDATE: It is now nearing a year since I set up this website, and in the meantime
I have gained a diploma in effective parenting, and a certificate in mental health studies. I have now also completed a further
year of my degree studies. I moved to the south-east of the UK last November to make a new start with my family. Through this
website I have now answered quite a few interesting and relevent of today questions, and I realise, that there are people
out there, who need advice, and will use this kind of service. I am still there for all of you who need spiritual guidance,
so keep the questions coming! :-)
